Single Program Phone Number Initiative

As part of a new round of requirements, the mobile carriers are putting limits on the quantity of phone numbers that any institution can use in their outgoing texting efforts. To protect your message delivery and prepare for the future, this spring Signal Vine will be removing number pools for all customers. New programs are already launching with a single outgoing phone number. Signal Vine will begin reaching out to customers regarding this initiative in April 2023. 

For your existing programs, we'll need your help in reducing your outgoing numbers. To start, we need to know which number you want to use for your future messaging. 

Where can I find the current program phone numbers? 

Click Programs at the top of Signal Vine screen, then Phone Numbers, the list of phone numbers for the program selected on the left will be visible. Clicking the different program names on the left side will show the different numbers by program. 

If you are working with a long list of programs, you can utilize the attached Microsoft Excel file as a template if the Survey Monkey form does not provide adequate space. Once you fill this in, you can email it to svsupport@moderncampus.com.
