While you are able to send a text message up to 1600 characters in the Message platform, contacts should not be reading a textbook on their phones. We recommend that most of your messages should remain under 300 characters whenever possible. In our experience, messages that are brief and to the point receive the best response rates. If you need to occasionally send a longer message, don’t worry— just try not to do it too often!
